  1. ***AnyWhere 2000 License Agreement***

  3. You should carefully read the following terms and conditions before using AnyWhere 2000.  Unless you have a 
  4. different license agreement signed by Mike Stevenson, your use of AnyWhere 2000 indicates your acceptance 
  5. of this license agreement and warranty
  6.  
  7. AnyWhere 2000 is protected by federal copyright law and international treaty.  For a copy of the brochure, 
  8. Software Use and the Law, please send a self addressed, stamped envelope to:

  14. ***Registered Version***

  16. One registered copy of AnyWhere 2000 may either be used by a single person who uses the software 
  17. personally on one or more computers, or installed on a single workstation used non-simultaneously by 
  18. multiple people, but not both. You may access the registered version of AnyWhere 2000 through a network, 
  19. provided that you have obtained individual licenses for the software covering all workstations that will 
  20. access the software through the network.  For instance, if 8 different work-stations will access AnyWhere 
  21. 98 on the network, each workstation must have it's own AnyWhere 2000 license, regardless of whether they 
  22. use AnyWhere 2000 at different times, or concurrently. Except to the extent expressly licensed herein, all rights 
  23. are reserved to Mike Stevenson and his suppliers.  You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble 
  24. AnyWhere 2000.

  26. ***Limited Warranty and limitation of remedies.***

  28. ***NO WARRANTIES.***  To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mike Stevenson 
  29. expressly disclaims any warranty for AnyWhere 2000.  AnyWhere 2000 and any related documentation is 
  30. provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including, without limitation, the 
  31. implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.  The entire risk arising out of use or 
  32. performance of AnyWhere 2000 remains with you.  Mike Stevenson's entire liability and your exclusive 
  33. remedy, at Mike StevensonÆs option, shall be the cost of AnyWhere 2000 or its replacement with another copy 
  34. of AnyWhere 2000.  To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Mike Stevenson or 
  35. his suppliers be liable for any damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, damages for loss of 
  36. business profit, business interruption, loss of business information,  or any other pecuniary loss) arising out 
  37. of the use or inability to use this, or any product by Mike Stevenson, even if Mike Stevenson has been 
  38. advised of the possibility of such damages.  Because some states/jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or 
  39. limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, the above limitation may not apply to you.

  43. ***Evaluation and Registration***

  45. AnyWhere 2000 is not free software.  You are hereby licensed to use AnyWhere 2000 for evaluation purposes 
  46. without charge for a period of Thirty (30) days.  If you use this software after the thirty (30) day evaluation 
  47. period, a registration fee is required, as  described in the section titled 'Registration'.  Unregistered use of 
  48. AnyWhere 2000 after the thirty (30) day evaluation period is in violation of U.S. and international copyright 
  49. laws.

  51. ***Distribution***

  53. You are hereby licensed to make as many copies of the Shareware version of AnyWhere 2000 and 
  54. documentation as you wish; Give exact copies of the original Shareware version to anyone; and distribute 
  55. the Shareware version of the software and documentation in its unmodified form via electronic means.  
  56. There is no charge for any of the above. You are specifically prohibited from charging, or requesting 
  57. donations, for any such copies, however made; and from distributing the software and/or documentation 
  58. with other products (commercial or otherwise) without prior written permission from the author (Mike 
  59. Stevenson).
